The Opportunity

Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys stepping into busy environments, getting to grips with complex employee relations challenges and delivering immediate value? We're supporting a well-established, multi-site organisation seeking an experienced Interim HR Specialist to join the team on an initial three-month assignment during a period of heavy workload.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting multiple sites and business divisions, you'll provide expert guidance on a range of employee relations matters, including:

  • Managing complex disciplinary, grievance and employee relations cases
  • Providing expert support on absence management and sickness issues
  • Resolving performance, capability and conduct matters
  • Leading workplace investigations and fact-finding processes
  • Supporting organisational change, restructures and redundancy programmes
  • Coaching, influencing and advising key stakeholders on people-related matters

Ideal Candidate

This is a fantastic role for candidates who enjoys variety, autonomy and problem-solving. You'll inherit a broad ER caseload from day one and work closely with senior HR leadership to provide pragmatic support across a diverse operational workforce.

Ideal Background:

  • An experienced HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner
  • Comfortable managing complex ER cases independently
  • Used to operating across multi-site or operational environments
  • Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-focused
  • Able to establish credibility quickly with stakeholders
