About the Role
A dynamic growing professional services firm with international reach is looking for an interim HR Business Partner to work with key stakeholders within this professional services business. This role reports into the Chief People Officer. This role will initially be a 3 month FTC, with the possibility of extending. We are looking for someone who can start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide commercial, practical, and people-related advice to Partners, Service Line Heads, Sector Heads, Team Leads, and Managers.
- Help ensure that the right people solutions are delivered for the business, with a particular focus on workforce planning, talent management, performance, succession, organizational design, change, engagement, inclusion, and leadership capability.
- Stay informed and close to the business, building strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted adviser and constructive challenger where appropriate.
- Experience of employee relations, specifically managing, maintaining, and strengthening the relationships between the partners and the staff.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, performance issues, and team dynamics, mediating disputes to maintain high morale and a collaborative firm culture.
- Conduct impartial, confidential investigations into workplace complaints, ensuring strict adherence to labor laws, firm policies, and professional conduct standards.
- Guide and coach partners, directors, and line managers on handling sensitive performance issues.
- Develop and enforce HR/ER policies and monitor exit interview trends to proactively address turnover risks, burner/busy-season burnout, and workplace satisfaction across practice areas.
- Experience of working in a Business Partner role in a professional services environment and proven capability of making a difference.
- Proven ability to build successful relationships with key stakeholders enabling debate, discussion, and challenge as appropriate.

- Knowledge of best practice People processes within a corporate environment.
