Experienced HRBP Opportunity in Sheffield

We are recruiting for an experienced HRBP to join a luxury manufacturing company in their Sheffield team on a full-time and permanent basis.

Acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders, you will help build high-performing, engaged teams and support the delivery of the full employee lifecycle. This is a broad, hands-on partnering role covering people strategy, manager coaching, employee relations, organisational change, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

The organisation operates in a fast-paced, high-volume, and continually changing environment, so this role requires someone who is comfortable managing competing priorities, responding quickly to business needs, and remaining calm and pragmatic through periods of change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to understand their objectives, workforce requirements, and people-related challenges.
  • Develop practical people plans that support business performance and organisational goals.
  • Coach managers on leadership, performance management, talent development, wellbeing, and change.
  • Work closely with the ER Specialist to support cases involving conduct, performance, attendance, grievances, and flexible working.
  • Encourage early intervention and help managers resolve issues fairly, consistently, and in line with UK employment law.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including probation, performance, development, engagement, retention, and exit.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Reward on workforce planning, internal mobility, pay reviews, benchmarking, and recognition.
  • Provide people support during restructures, TUPE processes, team changes, and wider organisational initiatives.
  • Use people data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and translate these into practical recommendations.
  • Support the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and ways of working.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
