The People Business Partner
The People Business Partner will act as the primary HR partner for the UK business, providing expert support across employee relations, performance management, employee lifecycle activities, and manager coaching while ensuring a positive and consistent employee experience. The role also manages the Office Administrator, and leads engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives that support business performance and growth.

Description
Employee Relations & HR Advisory
- Provide day-to-day guidance to managers and employees on HR and employee relations matters.
- Manage disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability processes.
- Support investigations and formal employee meetings.
- Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently and compliantly.
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases where appropriate.
Performance Management & Manager Coaching
- Support managers with performance management processes and probation reviews.
- Coach first-time and developing managers on effective people management.
- Guide managers through performance improvement plans and difficult conversations.
- Help build management capability and reinforce consistent leadership standards.

Employee Lifecycle
- Lead onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Conduct exit interviews and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure a positive and seamless employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.
Employee Experience
- Manage and develop the Office Administrator.
Engagement, Reward & Culture
- Support employee engagement programmes and survey activity.
- Coordinate recognition and incentive initiatives.
- Partner with leaders to deliver culture and employee experience campaigns.
- Analyse employee feedback and recommend improvements.
Compliance & HR Reporting
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, and HRIS data accuracy.
- Support audits and reporting requirements.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through People data and insights.
Profile
The successful candidate will be a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, growing business environment. Key Requirements
- Previous experience as an HR Advisor, People Partner, or HR Business Partner.
- Strong employee relations and performance management expertise.
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Proven ability to advise, influence, and coach managers at varying levels.
- Experience supporting leaders through employee relations matters, performance challenges, and organisational change.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine passion for employee experience and culture.

Desirable Experience
- Experience working within an SME, scale-up, or high-growth organisation where processes, teams, and structures are continuing to evolve.
- CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
- Experience managing, mentoring, or developing an Administrator or Coordinator.
- Exposure to office operations, workplace experience, employee engagement, or culture initiatives.
- Experience gained within recruitment, staffing, professional services, or other commercially driven environments.

Job Offer
- £60,000 + 15 % bonus.
