Your new company
Joining an established and experienced team of 6 other HR Advisors working to support the managers and employees in a large public sector organisation. The team deals with a wide variety of first line queries, support recruitment and selection and resolve employee relations queries. This is a temporary role until July 2027 initially, with a possible extension. The organisation work 3x a week on site and 2x from home.
Your new role
You and your HR Advisor colleagues will predominantly support managers and employees across the organisation to resolve employee relations matters. This can range from sickness/absence management, supporting investigations and disciplinary and grievance cases. You will also provide expert advice and guidance on pay/policy information and will work with managers up to head of service level. You will work with a team of HRBP's who you can escalate more complex matters to and will get the opportunity to shadow/observe complex cases, contributing to the development of your HR knowledge and experience.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this temporary post, you must already come with a solid HR advisor/generalist background that includes independent case work management. Due to the busy nature of the role and the organisation's urgent need for a temporary member of staff, they need to know this is someone who can hit the ground running and can draw upon previous experience when handing ER case work.
