We are recruiting an HRIS & Payroll Administrator to join the HR team of a highly regarded London law firm on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a varied role combining payroll administration, HR systems, reporting and data management, working as part of an established HR Operations team.

It would suit someone with experience in payroll administration who is comfortable working with HR systems and data, and who enjoys a role where accuracy, organisation and problem solving are important.

The role

You will support the day-to-day delivery of payroll and HR systems activity, including:

  • Managing the payroll integration process and coordinating with the external payroll provider
  • Reviewing payroll outputs and identifying any discrepancies
  • Running payroll reports and reconciliations
  • Supporting HR data management and reporting
  • Maintaining and developing the HR information system
  • Producing HR reports and data analysis
  • Supporting annual salary review and pay gap reporting
  • Helping to improve HR systems, processes and ways of working

About you

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous payroll administration experience
  • At least one year’s experience working with systems and data, ideally within HR
  • Experience using an HR information system; experience with Cascade would be particularly useful
  • Good Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to build relationships across a business
  • A practical, proactive approach to solving problems
