Assistant Team Leader - Hospital Sterilisation and Disinfection Unit (HSDU)
An opportunity has become available for an Assistant Team Leader to join the Hospital Sterilisation and Disinfection Unit (HSDU).
Role Requirements
- Ability of working effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility is key to ensure the department operating hours are covered appropriately and the ability to take part in the out of hours on-call rota is essential.
Job Details
This post is a 37.5 hours per week flexible working contract and involves shift working over 7 days, including weekends.

You will work alongside and lead a team of HSDU Technicians to ensure duties are carried out in accordance with departmental policies and procedures whilst ensuring compliance with statutory legislation. You will coordinate the workload whilst prioritising and delegating to team members ensuring decontaminated surgical equipment is available to our customers.
