The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their team on a 3-month contract. This is a hands-on role focused on reviewing, strengthening, and embedding Health & Safety compliance across the organisation, ensuring full adherence to UK HSE legislation and regulatory requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Health & Safety professional who can quickly identify compliance gaps, implement practical solutions, and drive continuous improvement within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive Health & Safety audits across production, laboratory, warehouse, office, and associated facilities.
  • Review and update Health & Safety policies, SOPs, risk assessments, and COSHH documentation.
  • Work closely with operational teams to implement compliant and sustainable Health & Safety processes.
  • Strengthen COSHH management and GMP-compliant handling of chemicals and materials.
  • Review incident reporting procedures and support robust root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Support Health & Safety representatives and contribute to ongoing safety improvement initiatives.
  • Provide regular progress reports and recommendations to senior leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
