Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ months contract

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced HSE Technician I to support HSE Governance activities, risk management processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will focus on coordinating HSE programs, analysing performance data, maintaining HSE documentation, and supporting operational teams in improving safety standards across a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide coordination support for HSE Governance activities, including HSE programs, reporting, and record management.
  • Support HSE teams with data analysis, trend identification, and continuous improvement actions.
  • Develop trend reports using audit findings, risk areas, events, near misses, and safety observations.
  • Support HSE improvement projects, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion.
  • Maintain and improve HSE Risk Registers, performance data, and reporting accuracy.
  • Assist with HSE risk assessments and support field verification of risk controls.
  • Track risk assessment actions and support HSE assurance activities.
  • Manage HSE documentation systems, including SharePoint, ensuring document control and version management.
  • Support local HSE leaders in achieving annual safety priorities and improvement targets.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders across different business units and locations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree or diploma in HSE, Safety, Environmental, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Experience working in global/multinational environments.
  • Experience supporting HSE governance, risk management, reporting, or improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in high-risk operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of HSE processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
  • ISO 45001 Auditor certification preferred.
  • Experience within Oil & Gas / Energy sectors highly desirable.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint management.
  • Familiarity with AI tools to support HSE processes and improvements
