Employment Type: Full time & Permanent

Salary: Up to £40,000

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be retained once again by Union Technical to appoint a HSE Advisor, supporting the continued growth of their business across Scotland.

Union Technical is one of Scotland's leading providers of energy efficiency, renewable energy, insulation, and heating solutions, working with homeowners, landlords, housing associations, and local authorities to improve the energy performance of homes across the UK. Since its establishment in 2014, the business has experienced significant growth and has built a strong reputation for quality, compliance, and customer service. The organisation continues to invest in its people, processes, and systems as it scales its operations and delivers innovative solutions that support the UK's net-zero ambitions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a health and safety professional who enjoys collaborating with people, building strong relationships, and influencing positive behaviours. You'll be equally comfortable carrying out site inspections, supporting audits and investigations, and engaging with colleagues across all levels of the organisation.

The Role

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
