Have you got previous experience working within a Manufacturing/Engineering/Production environment within a health and safety capacity? If so, then please read on.

Job Title: HSE Advisor

Pay: up to £45,000

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8hrs starting between 6:30am and 8am and Fridays 5.5hrs. (37.5hr week)

Location: Near Sutton-in-Ashfield (x2 site locations) approx. 3 days at site 1 and 2 days at site 2.

Progression: to Health and Safety Manager for succession planning.

Overview: With manufacturing facilities located across the World we now require a HSE Advisor to join the group. You will be working for a first-class manufacturing business that can offer true progression for the willing candidate to become the Health and Safety Manager due to succession planning.

The role will have a key focus around environmental as this is now moving under the Health and Safety structure for the business.

Key responsibilities of the HSE Advisor role:

  • To provide support to the HSE Manager and wider Health and Safety team as well as Operations & Engineering Departments.
  • To assist in facilitating a safe workplace, fostering safe behaviours and implementation of site and group policies and procedures, and always working towards continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate / HSE Advisor may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate required
  • Exposure to environmental – waste management, energy savings, COSHH
  • Strong IT skills Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills
