The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HSE Advisor / Trainer to join our Compliance / HSEQ team based in Milton Keynes. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting health, safety, environmental and training compliance across our manufacturing operations, helping to drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Group's Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure compliance with ISO standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments, identifying opportunities to improve health, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Support accident and incident investigations, maintaining accident reporting processes and promoting preventative measures.
  • Assist with fire safety management, first aid programmes, and insurance compliance visits.
  • Review and update HSE policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
  • Lead and coordinate training activities across the Milton Keynes site, maintaining the training matrix and ensuring colleagues receive the appropriate development and competency training.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and support the onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Work closely with Operations Managers, Team Leaders, HR, and external training providers to support business objectives.
  • Provide H&S support to other Group locations, including occasional travel between sites.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A NEBOSH qualification.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment (3-5 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and environmental requirements.
  • Experience with ISO standards and internal auditing processes.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • The ability to work independently, influence stakeholders, and deliver effective training.
  • Good IT skills, with SAP knowledge being advantageous.
