At DHL Supply Chain, safety isn't just a priority, it's at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an experienced and passionate Health & Safety Business Partner to join one of our dynamic multi-contract operations, supporting a large-scale semi-automated site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive H&S professional who thrives in fast-paced logistics environments and wants to make a genuine impact. Working alongside operational leaders, customers, and colleagues across multiple contracts, you'll play a critical role in shaping and driving a positive safety culture, influencing key stakeholders, and ensuring our business continues to operate safely, efficiently, and compliantly.

A Typical Day May Involve
As the Health & Safety Business Partner, you will provide expert advice, guidance, and support across the site to ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation and DHL policies.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing professional HSE advice, guidance, and support to operational teams across the site.
- Building strong relationships with site customers and acting as a trusted safety advisor.
- Driving standardisation and supporting continued adherence to the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) and other HSE policies.
- Supporting the delivery of annual Safety, Health, and Environmental objectives through effective performance management.
- Assisting the central HSE function in delivering wider functional and business objectives.
- Coordinating and supporting site management teams with key HSE initiatives and improvement programmes.
- Promoting a proactive safety culture through engagement, coaching, training, and visible leadership.
- Monitoring compliance, identifying risks, and implementing practical solutions to drive continuous improvement.

This Role Would Suit People Who
- Strong experience working in an operational Health & Safety role.
- Previous Health & Safety responsibility within warehouse and transport environments.
- Experience delivering against targets and driving standardised programmes and initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage operational leaders, customers, and colleagues.
- NEBOSH National General Certificate (essential).
- Confidence and experience presenting to groups and delivering training sessions.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
- Experience working in automated or semi-automated operational environments.
- Knowledge or experience of Food Safety and/or Quality standards.
- Experience supporting large-scale, multi-contract logistics operations.
