Tech Connect Group has partnered with an aerospace business based in Hinckley, in their recruitment for a HSE Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone NEBOSH qualified (or working towards it) to drive positive change whilst heading up the HSE team. This business is going through an exciting period of growth, securing multiple long-term projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the site's Health, Safety, and Environmental strategy, ensuring full compliance with legislation, updating policies, and monitoring key metrics.
- Conduct regular safety audits, lead incident and near-miss investigations with root-cause analysis, and manage risk assessments.
- Provide expert HSE advice, develop and deliver engaging training programs, and support managers in cultivating a strong, positive safety culture.
- Monitor environmental compliance, support sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives, and act as the main liaison for external regulators and auditors (with travel to the other sites).

Key Skills & Experience:
- NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) or working toward it, plus relevant environmental/ISO standards knowledge.
- Proven Health & Safety management experience within a manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred), backed by strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and compliance.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting thorough incident investigations, implementing corrective actions, risk management, and applying Continuous Improvement tools (Six Sigma desirable).
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels, supported by strong stakeholder management and IT proficiency.
- Adaptable and flexible with working hours, including the ability to travel between sites as required.
