Location: Hayes, West London
Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits

Help Deliver One of London's Largest Hyperscale Data Centre Projects

We're looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join the team delivering a major hyperscale data centre development in Hayes, West London. As Principal Contractor, you'll be part of a project delivering 18 state-of-the-art data halls, high voltage and medium voltage energy centres, and the critical infrastructure that powers one of the UK's most significant mission-critical developments.

This is an opportunity to make a real impact, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance are maintained throughout the project while helping to build a positive safety culture across site.

The Role

As HSE Manager, you'll work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and site management to ensure construction activities are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with both legal requirements and industry best practice.

You'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, supporting high-risk activities, and helping to create an environment where everyone goes home safely every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting project teams with the implementation of HSE standards and procedures.
  • Carrying out site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Reviewing RAMS and supporting the safe delivery of high-risk construction activities.
  • Investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
  • Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks, and workforce engagement initiatives.
  • Promoting a positive safety culture across all project teams and subcontractors.

We're Looking for Someone Who Has:

  • Experience supporting HSE delivery on major construction projects.
  • A good understanding of high-risk construction activities and construction site safety.
  • Experience carrying out site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 management systems.
  • Experience supporting incident investigations and corrective action programmes.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • IOSH Membership and a valid CSCS Card.
  • MEP project experience would be an advantage.
