Strickland Tracks is a privately owned industrial equipment supplier that specializes in manufacturing and distributing crawler track systems. Renowned for providing high quality and innovative engineered products, Strickland Tracks manufacture for a variety of applications including construction, recycling, and agricultural machinery. The company operates manufacturing facilities in Pershore and Evesham in the UK. Engineering excellence is Strickland Tracks' core strength, with a vast breadth of engineers throughout the business.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to become a core member of our Operations team. The role reports into the Operations Director and will be responsible for the Health, Safety and Environmental systems across both manufacturing sites within Worcestershire.

A core focus of the role is to support the Operations Management team in continually developing robust risk assessments, processes, and training plans for their teams and locations whilst working to improve engagement within the workshop teams. The HSE Manager will provide coaching and mentoring to staff at all levels of the business and work to ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.

The role requires a dynamic individual adept in a fast-moving production and assembly environment with the ability to communicate successfully at all levels of the business. The role will suit you if you are a strategic thinker, but with a hands-on approach, taking ideas and principles and converting them into real-world outputs throughout the Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Working closely with the Operations Managers to appropriately assess risk, take action where required, and embed a safety-first culture across the organization.
  • Setting the vision and objectives for the HSE function while motivating, mentoring, and coaching colleagues to develop the overall performance of the business in regards to HSE activities.
  • Continually developing and implementing SSOW as appropriate while training those around you to continually develop processes and risk management procedures.
  • Ownership of all relevant HSE functions including but not limited to COSHH, Emergency Response Procedures, Risk Assessments, and supporting the provision of training where required.
