About Us

Here at ISS as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider, we are looking to recruit a HSEQ Business Partner to join our H&S team on a 6 month FTC to cover secondment, covering the London and South East Region.

In this post, you would cover multiple Hard & Soft FM contracts within the region, including Healthcare, Banking and Government.


About the Role

You would be the Regional HSEQ BP forging a network of strong stakeholder relationships and establishing yourself as a trusted source of all things H&S expertise.

This role is pivotal in embedding a robust safety and compliance culture, ensuring that all health and safety procedures, safe systems of work, and risk management practices are fully implemented and followed.

By providing expert guidance, conducting risk assessments and audits, and collaborating with operational teams to identify and mitigate risks, the HSEQ Business Partner directly contributes to service excellence and strengthens ISS’ reputation for dependable, high-quality, safety focused facilities support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing practical, proactive HSEQ support that enables operational teams and stakeholders to work safely, efficiently and in adherence to required standards.
  • Acting as a trusted partner to regional accounts by supporting, coaching and mentoring teams on HSEQ matters.
  • Promoting clear ownership and accountability for HSEQ activities across all stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with client counterparts to ensure HSEQ processes meet their expectations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and maintaining ISS’s internal standards.
  • Understanding the risk profile of contracts and proactively identifying and managing significant hazards including statutory compliance, food safety and projects.
  • Conducting risk-based audits to assess compliance with the OneISS Way and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leading the investigation lifecycle for high severity incidents and providing governance and oversight for lower level incidents.
  • Championing ISS HSEQ campaigns like Safe Spaces and Wellbeing initiatives, to drive engagement and improve safety and wellbeing outcomes.

Requirements

  • Nebosh general or above plus sound HSEQ experience in the built environment space.
