HSEQ Manager (TIC Sector / FM)
Our client is a leading testing, inspection & certification (TIC) sector organisation who are looking to appoint an experienced QHSE Manager to provide leadership across their Fire, Air & Asbestos division. This is a brand-new role created as part of their rapid growth trajectory. The role is focused on driving quality, health, safety and environmental excellence, supporting operational teams, and ensuring compliance across a growing national business.
This opportunity offers significant scope to influence standards, improve performance and develop your career, with a clear pathway towards a future QHSE Director position.
The role requires national travel to internal offices and customer sites. You will ideally be based in the North West / Midlands however they are open-minded to location.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a positive HSEQ culture across the division.
- Support and coach operational leaders on quality, safety and environmental performance.
- Ensure compliance with UK legislation, industry standards and ISO management systems.
- Lead audits, investigations and corrective action programmes.
- Develop and improve HSEQ policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
- Produce KPI reports and performance dashboards to drive continuous improvement.
- Support new contract mobilisations and business integration projects.
- Deliver training and represent the business during customer and regulatory audits.

Person Specification
- Proven HSEQ leadership experience within a similar organisation with a mobile workforce (TIC sector, FM, HVAC, Maintenance etc.
- NEBOSH Diploma / NEBOSH Certificate is essential.
- Lead Auditor qualification.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, auditing, investigations and ISO management systems.
- A practical and visible leadership style, with the confidence to influence, coach and appropriately challenge people at every level.
- The ability to turn performance information into clear priorities, practical actions and measurable improvement.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to influence at all levels from SLT to site based engineers.
- A highly organised approach, with the ability to balance operational priorities, planned improvement activity and multiple stakeholders.
- A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel nationally as required.
