HSQE Administrator

Location: Billericay / Flexible

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Take ownership. Drive improvement. Build a career in HSQE.

You take pride in keeping things organised, spotting the details others miss and making sure important information is accurate, accessible and up to date. You're the kind of person who doesn't wait to be reminded. When something needs doing, you take ownership and see it through.

At Ground Control, we're looking for an HSQE Administrator who can become a trusted part of our Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of key systems, support critical safety processes and work with colleagues across the business. You'll play a visible role in helping our teams operate safely and compliantly while building valuable experience and exposure across multiple areas of the business. For the right person, this role offers genuine progression opportunities into Health & Safety, Quality or wider compliance careers.

What you'll do:

  • In this role, you'll provide vital administrative and coordination support to the HSQE team, helping maintain the systems, records and processes that underpin safe and effective operations across Ground Control.
  • Take ownership of key HSQE trackers, systems and SharePoint records, ensuring information remains accurate, organised and accessible.
  • Manage and monitor incident, hazard and compliance data, helping to maintain the quality of information used for reporting, audits, tenders and accreditations.
  • Support the management of the HSQE inbox and routine enquiries, providing timely responses and ensuring actions are progressed efficiently.
  • Work closely with Health & Safety Managers to review, classify and maintain incident records, helping ensure data is accurate and meaningful.
  • Produce and coordinate reporting information that supports operational decisions, compliance activities and business performance reviews.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, document control and action tracking, helping the business maintain high standards of compliance.
  • Support purchasing and administrative processes across the HSQE team, including purchase orders, supplier information and training administration.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance data quality and reduce administrative complexity across the function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
