HSSE Specialist

£55,000-£60,000 + Benefits
Outsource is proud to partner with Exolum, a global leader in fuel storage and energy infrastructure, to recruit an experienced HSSE Specialist.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-hazard, COMAH-regulated environment, supporting operational sites across the UK and driving excellence in Health, Safety, Security and Environmental performance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing HSSE support across multiple UK sites
- Supporting COMAH compliance and Safety Reports
- Conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations
- Leading risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting emergency response and regulatory compliance activities
- Working closely with operational teams to strengthen process safety and environmental performance

What We're Looking For
Candidates do not need experience in every area, but exposure to several of the following would be highly desirable:
- COMAH Regulations & Safety Reports
- Process Safety Management
- HAZOP & LOPA Studies
- ALARP Assessments
- QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessments)
- Environmental Risk Assessments (ERA)
- SRAM / Risk Assessment Methodologies
- CDOIF Guidance
- Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis

Additional Requirements
- HSSE/HSE experience within a high-hazard environment
- NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of UK health, safety and environmental legislation
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- High hazard industry background
