Are you an expert in Human Tissue Act (HTA) compliance with a passion for ensuring regulatory adherence during critical transitions? A leading Pharmaceutical company is seeking a HTA Consultant to join their team based in the Berkshire area, with future relocation to Surrey. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact by providing expert advice on the establishment of an HTA satellite site and the transfer of HTA relevant material.
This is an initial 12-month contract.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Your duties as the HTA Consultant will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- As the HTA Consultant, you will provide expert advice on establishing an accurate inventory of HTA relevant material stored at the main HTA license location.
- As the HTA Consultant, you will guide the completion of the HTA satellite application process and ensure compliance throughout the transfer.
- As the HTA Consultant, you will advise on the business security plan for managing critical HTA samples during the transition, including temporary off-site storage.
- As the HTA Consultant, you will offer expertise on the transportation of Human Tissues as dangerous goods and prepare the satellite location for its first HTA inspection.

Skills And Experience
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the HTA Consultant we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- Relevant degree in a scientific or regulatory field.
- Extensive industry experience in Human Tissue Act (HTA) legislation and compliance.
- Practical experience with the transportation of dangerous goods and managing HTA relevant materials.
