PORT Runs Rider Operations and E-Bike Charging Hubs for Delivery Couriers Across the UK
PORT runs rider operations and e-bike charging hubs for delivery couriers across the UK. We have 24 hubs live and plan to open about 30 more. Each hub is a small, covered site where riders pick up, charge and return e-bikes. Finding the right sites is what limits how fast we grow, and that's the job.
The Role
You'll own hub acquisition in your region, from first lead to signed contract. You'll find sites, check them against our spec, win over landlords, negotiate terms and get the deal signed. Then you hand over to our deployment team. You'll work with commercial agents, landlords, car park operators and local authorities, and you'll have real autonomy to do it.
What You'll Do
- Source sites through agents, landlords, property databases, driving the patch and your own network.
- Screen every site against our spec: 100–600 sqm, up to £25 per sqm per month all-in, covered or able to take a canopy, 24/7 access, 3-phase power, single floor or ramped.
- Confirm the details with landlords: consent for alterations and our use, available power (kVA), and the contract type and key terms.
- Negotiate heads of terms and take deals through legals to signature.
- Present our fire and battery safety pack to landlords and handle their questions.
- Keep the location pipeline current: every lead, its status and the next step.
- Build relationships with the agents and landlords in your region so the good sites come to us first.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
