Job Description

The role

As a Logistics Controller, you will sit at the very heart of Next’s global supply chain, ensuring our international customers receive the seamless service they expect from our brand. In this newly created role and reporting directly to the Hubs Manager, you will take full ownership of the international customer journey from start to finish, bridging the gap between our internal distribution teams and our global partner hubs. You will work cross-functionally with internal senior managers, warehouse operations, systems and customer service teams to boost delivery efficiencies while carefully managing our cost base. At Next, we know our people drive our success, so we will support you from day one with the tools, operational insights, and cross-functional training you need to confidently shape and excel in this exciting, newly created position.

What you'll take on

  • Manage international partner hub relationships to agree on clear SLAs and KPIs for operational activities.
  • Take on responsibility for bulk trailer movements of goods, ensuring seamless delivery of product to international hubs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end customer order journey across global routes, ensuring correct volumes are picked, packed, shipped, and delivered on time.
  • Lead regular planning and peak-trading meetings with warehouse operations and third-party partners to manage expected volumes, sale periods, and system changes.
  • Analyse logistics data and performance metrics to provide detailed, commercial insights to senior managers and Directors regarding process improvements.
  • Proactively identify supply chain risks that could impact our delivery promises, recommending swift and intuitive solutions to keep us ahead of competitors.
  • Travel flexibly between our South Elmsall warehouses and Head Office, alongside occasional international travel to collaborate face-to-face with our global hub partners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
