Help Shape Defence Systems Around the People Who Use Them
We're supporting a leading engineering and technology consultancy that delivers critical programmes across Defence, National Security and Government. Due to continued growth, they're looking to hire Human Factors Consultants to support the development of complex systems where human performance, safety and usability are essential to mission success.
This is an opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams across some of the UK's most advanced defence programmes, ensuring that people remain at the heart of system design and operational capability.
The successful candidate will help integrate Human Factors principles throughout the engineering lifecycle, improving safety, performance, resilience and effectiveness in challenging operational environments. Human Factors Integration (HFI) is a key requirement across UK Defence acquisition programmes and forms an essential part of system development.
What You'll Be Doing
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
