About The Role

As a key member of our lean HR team, you will collaborate closely with various departments—including Creative, Growth, Tech, and Operations—in a matrix environment. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 5–8 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within fast-paced, remote-first environments and with a background that combines consultancy and in-house roles. Experience supporting manager-level stakeholders and driving end-to-end HR processes across multiple functions is essential. Familiarity with the D2C or performance marketing sectors is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong organizational and time management skills are critical, with proficiency in SaaS tools such as Asana, Monday, or similar platforms. You should demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively with internal leaders, managers, and external partners. A solid understanding of competency frameworks, performance management, compensation structures, and employee engagement strategies is required. Knowledge of HRIS systems, Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and other workplace management tools will be highly beneficial. A proactive mindset, data-driven approach, and passion for continuous learning are essential qualities for success in this role.

- Implement and manage performance management systems, including setting SMART KPIs aligned with company OKRs, conducting calibration sessions, and facilitating high-quality review processes.
- Coach managers on providing effective feedback, conducting bias checks, and developing personalized development plans such as PDPs and PIPs, with clear success criteria.
- Assist in preparing compensation approval documentation, ensuring fair and transparent pay practices through parity checks and budget considerations.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives by conducting quarterly pulse surveys, analyzing insights, and translating data into actionable strategies to improve culture, inclusion, and communication.
- Coordinate onboarding processes, including pre-boarding, access provisioning, and structured 7/30/60/90/180-day onboarding plans to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Manage offboarding processes professionally, ensuring proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and employee exit procedures.
- Partner with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into people actions, maintaining stakeholder maps, decision logs, and SLA tracking for efficient decision-making.
- Execute HR operations flawlessly, including joiner-mover-leaver processes, maintaining compliance calendars, and supporting audit readiness through accurate documentation and data management.
- Design and support learning and development initiatives by mapping competencies to learning paths, creating content, and measuring behavioral and performance improvements over time.
