HR Administrator

Working as part of the HR team, supporting recruitment, onboarding and the full life cycle of our employees, providing excellent service.

Role Overview

Provide full HR administration for all employees, acting as the first point of contact for HR.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide administrative support to the HR, L&D Manager
  • Update and maintain HR systems and information
  • Support the HR Manager with HR Audits
  • Respond to emails received in the HR Inbox
  • Answer the HR phone, recruitment and absence lines
  • Assist hiring managers with all aspects of recruitment including scheduling interviews
  • Prepare new starter paperwork including offers and contracts
  • Administer change and pay review paperwork
  • Compliance checks for onboarding including right to work and references
  • Complete the onboarding processes for new starters
  • Assist with Inductions
  • Process leavers, leaver paperwork and references as requested
  • Support the HR Manager with absence
  • Support the HR Manager with employee relations activities assisting with meeting arrangements and acting as note taker as required
  • Maintain accurate information trackers
  • Liaise with Payroll
  • Support line managers with probation administration
  • Update and maintain HR files both paper and electronic
  • Undertake other duties as required by the HR Manager

Education / Qualifications

Minimum academic level:

  • A minimum GCSE C grade (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

Other required qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards.

  • Excellent administration skills, with desire to improve and streamline processes
  • Ability to work accurately with high attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Discretion, maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
