HR Administrator

South Manchester
Permanent
£28,000–£32,000

Are you an experienced HR Administrator looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference, take ownership and build your HR career?

We’re working with a growing, people-focused organisation to recruit an HR Administrator to join a supportive and collaborative HR team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their HR career and become a trusted member of the team.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the HR function, acting as a first point of contact for employees and managers and taking ownership of the HR inbox.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and triaging the HR inbox, responding to queries and ensuring actions are followed through
  • Providing day-to-day HR administration support across the employee lifecycle
  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding activity
  • Preparing HR letters and documentation
  • Supporting managers and employees with general HR queries
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Working closely with the wider HR team on a range of HR activities
  • Supporting additional projects and gaining exposure to areas such as employee relations, L&D and HR data
  • Taking ownership of tasks and finding solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
