HR Administrator

Signet are looking for an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join a busy HR team within a leading professional services organisation. This varied role will provide support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, pre-employment screening, employee relations, immigration, benefits and general HR operations. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to HR projects and wider initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding, induction and pre-employment screening processes.
  • Complete and maintain accurate right-to-work and immigration records.
  • Liaise with new joiners and third-party screening providers.
  • Provide administrative support across employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance meetings.
  • Support maternity, paternity and shared parental leave processes.
  • Assist with annual pay reviews and employee benefits administration.
  • Respond to general HR queries and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Support HR projects and other ad hoc activities as required.

About You

  • At least six months' HR experience, ideally within legal, professional services or a similar environment.
  • CIPD qualification or study towards CIPD is desirable but not essential.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, pragmatic and able to manage a varied workload at pace.
  • Confident building relationships and providing a high-quality HR service.
  • Flexible, resilient and able to use initiative.
  • Good IT and numeracy skills.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in HR or a related discipline desirable.
