This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office (City of London location) and 2 days working from home.

Role Purpose

To deliver a professional and efficient HR Administration Service in support of the business, ensuring that all required activities and information is delivered in a timely manner and kept up to date. Support the HR team in the delivery of effective HR administration in the areas of Recruitment, Learning & Development and general HR Team support, covering all stages of the employee life cycle.

Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Act as the primary administrator for all recruitment activity, ensuring a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Coordinate interviews, including scheduling, room bookings and communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring candidate records, recruitment workflows and approvals are accurate and up to date.

Learning & Development

  • Act as the administrator and super-user for the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring training records, learning content and reporting are maintained accurately.
  • Coordinate learning programmes and development activities across the Bank.
  • Manage course bookings, internal communications, room bookings, attendance records and evaluation feedback.
  • Monitor mandatory and regulatory training completion rates and produce reports for HR and business leaders.

HR Administration & Employee Life Cycle Support

  • Manage general HR administration activities including reference requests, contractual change letters and employee records.
  • Maintain HR systems and employee data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection requirements.
  • Support annual HR activities including performance reviews, talent reviews, pay review processes, colleague surveys and organisational development initiatives.
  • Maintain organisational charts, job descriptions and career pathway documentation.

Skills and Experience sought

  • Previous administrative experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with an eye for detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Experience with diary management and event coordination.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • A good completer/finisher
  • Ability to work confidentially
  • Accuracy with excellent attention to detail
