Posh Pawn, part of Prestige Asset Finance, is a growing luxury asset finance and retail business specialising in high-value jewellery, watches, luxury goods and other valuable assets. With eight high-street locations across London and Manchester, alongside our e-commerce platform, we are continuing to grow and develop our business.
We are looking for a highly organised, personable and proactive HR Administrator to join our team at our Head Office in Guildford.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the beginning of their HR career who wants to gain broad, hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle and develop their skills in a fast-paced and growing business.
About the role
You will provide day-to-day HR support across the business, working closely with employees and managers and supporting a wide range of HR activities, including:
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Supporting recruitment from vacancy through to appointment
- Preparing and posting job advertisements and coordinating interviews
- Managing new starter onboarding and leaver administration
- Maintaining holiday, absence and probation records
- Coordinating the staff rota across our eight stores
- Supporting the monthly payroll process
- Maintaining training records and coordinating internal and external training
- Preparing HR letters, reports and documentation
- Supporting HR policies, procedures and compliance
- Acting as a first point of contact for general HR queries
- Supporting managers with employee reviews, training and HR processes
- Assisting with HR projects and process improvements

What we're looking for
You don't need extensive HR experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong organisational skills and a genuine interest in developing a career in HR.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in administration, HR, recruitment or another people-focused role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- A proactive approach and the ability to take ownership of tasks
- A professional, approachable and reliable manner
CIPD Level 3, HR experience, payroll or recruitment experience would be advantageous, as would experience within retail, luxury retail, financial services or another regulated environment.
