Hours of Work

  • Monday to Wednesday (3 days a week)
  • 10:00am to 1:00pm (3 hours a day / 9 hours per week)

Job Purpose

The Human Resources Administrator provides efficient administrative support to the HR function, ensuring the accurate maintenance of employee records, HR systems, and personnel documentation. The role assists with recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, benefits management, employee relations processes, and compliance.

Job Brief

The Human Resources Administrator will act as a key point of contact for employee queries, provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, and contribute to the delivery of a professional and effective HR service. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential for success in this role.

Duties

  • Manage and update employee information within our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platform.
  • Support recruitment efforts by coordinating applicant tracking system (ATS) activities, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant records.
  • Assist with onboarding processes, including new hire documentation, orientation and scheduling.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to employee records, benefits administration, and HR metrics to facilitate reporting and decision-making.
  • Maintain communication with employees regarding HR policies and other HR-related inquiries through various channels.
  • Support administrative functions such as managing employee files, preparing reports, and handling correspondence to streamline HR operations.
  • Assist with payroll administration by providing accurate employee data and processing payroll-related changes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
  • Process new starter, employee change, and leaver documentation.
  • Support recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction processes for new employees.
  • Assist with payroll administration by providing accurate employee data and processing payroll-related changes.
  • Administer employee benefits, pensions, and leave records.
  • Monitor and maintain absence, sickness, and annual leave records.
  • Prepare employment contracts, HR correspondence, and other employee documentation.
  • Respond to employee and manager queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and data protection requirements.
  • Support performance management, probation reviews, and employee development processes.
  • Produce regular HR reports and management information using HR systems.
  • Coordinate training activities and maintain training records.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
  • Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data entry, record keeping, and administration.
  • Prior administrative experience in a human resources environment is highly desirable.
