Role Description

The HR Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Daventry/Northampton. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to the company Directors across HR activities, including maintaining employee records, preparing HR documents, and assisting with HR-related correspondence. The HR Administrator will help assist with HR compliance, note taking, tracking absences and leave, updating HR systems (Breathe is our preferred platform), and preparing reports. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with HR consultants and clients, ensuring a high standard of service and confidentiality in all HR operations.

  • Strong HR administration skills, including maintaining employee records, preparing documentation, and managing HR databases.
  • Experience with writing contracts of employment and employee handbooks.
  • Proficiency with office software and HR systems (e.g., MS Office, Excel, HRIS), with strong data entry and accuracy skills.
  • Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and client-focused approach.
  • Understanding of basic HR practices and UK employment regulations; CIPD level 3 qualified or working towards a level 5 CIPD qualification is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a small team, maintain discretion, and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Previous experience in an HR, office administration, or similar support role is preferred; experience within a consultancy environment is beneficial.
