A successful and growing organisation is looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join its London-based team. This is a varied role offering exposure across the full employee lifecycle, including HR administration, recruitment, payroll, benefits, reporting and employee relations support.
You will play an important part in ensuring HR processes run efficiently, employee records remain accurate and confidential, and colleagues and managers receive a professional and responsive service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Preparing contracts, letters and other employment documentation
- Coordinating onboarding, inductions, offboarding and exit processes
- Posting vacancies and arranging interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Completing background checks and employment references
- Gathering and checking payroll information, including absence and overtime data
- Supporting the administration of employee benefits and responding to related queries
- Producing reports covering headcount, absence, turnover and other HR metrics
- Supporting performance management, appraisal and employee relations meetings, including taking accurate notes
- Assisting with HR audits, policy updates, training and employee engagement activities
- Ensuring HR processes comply with UK employment legislation and internal policies

About you:
- At least two years’ experience in an HR administration role
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll and benefits processes
- Confident handling sensitive and confidential information
- Highly organised, accurate and able to manage competing priorities
- Professional, approachable and emotionally intelligent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with an HR system such as PeopleHR, Workday, BambooHR or SAP SuccessFactors would be advantageous
- French language skills would be beneficial but are not essential
