Human Resources Administrator - Eltham
£25,000-£32,000 Dependent on experience
Are you the sort of person who is always one step ahead? Do you love being organised, keeping things on track, spotting problems before they happen and making sure nothing falls through the cracks?
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our Employee Experience Directorate team in Eltham. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting the details right.
HR experience is helpful, but it's not the most important thing to us. We're far more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to take ownership of their work. If you're organised, reliable, eager to learn and great with Excel, we'd love to hear from you.
Why Join Baily Garner?
Baily Garner is a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy with over 350 employees across offices in Eltham, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and Newcastle.
For over 50 years, we've helped our clients create buildings and environments that positively impact people's lives. The same principle applies to our people. We are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive and rewarding workplace where everyone can develop and thrive.
About The Role
This is a varied and fast-moving administrative role supporting our Employee Experience Directorate across HR, recruitment, onboarding and employee records.
No two days are the same. One day you might be preparing offers for new starters, the next running reports, managing employee records, responding to queries or helping coordinate onboarding activities.
You will play a key role in ensuring our people processes run smoothly, accurately and efficiently.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
