Duration: 6 Month Contract
Location: Cardiff / Hybrid Working
Start Date: October 2026
Day Rate: £270 per day (via Umbrella Company)

People Advisor - Temporary Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated HR professional to join a growing financial services organisation, supporting day-to-day HR activities and providing trusted advice across the employee lifecycle during a six-month contract.
Duties:
- Managing and coordinating flexible working requests
- Supporting employee queries e.g. reasonable adjustment requests and occupational health referrals
- Drafting outcome letters and employee communications
- Providing administrative support for employee relations meetings and cases
- Responding to day-to-day HR queries from managers and employees
- Maintaining accurate records and case documentation
- Escalating more complex matters to senior colleagues where appropriate
- Working closely with the wider People team to deliver an excellent employee experience

Essential experience:
- Previous experience within HR, People Operations, Employee Relations or a similar people-focused role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Confidence dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to learn
