Fancy being the go-to HR contact for an entire office and a trusted partner to legal and business services teams at a leading international law firm? This HR Advisor role puts you right at the heart of the action.
We're looking for an HR Advisor to join a generalist HR team, working within a business partner model alongside HR Managers, Partners and Regional Divisional Leaders. You'll get real ownership - from running the BVI office's HR relationship to shaping key annual processes.
What you'll be doing
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to legal and business services teams
- Advising on and mediating employee relations issues as they arise
- Supporting HR Managers with appraisals, promotions, salary reviews and bonuses
- Contributing to talent management and succession planning
- Acting as the main HR contact for the British Virgin Islands office
- Drafting complex correspondence, including bespoke contracts and disciplinary, grievance and performance management documentation
- Managing flexible working applications, parental leave processes and absence management
- Overseeing end-of-probation reviews and conducting exit interviews
- Supporting immigration compliance and ad hoc HR projects

- CIPD qualification with HR Advisor-level experience in professional services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative, flexible approach and the confidence to build trust across the business
- Sharp attention to detail and a methodical, commercially minded outlook
