Fancy being the go-to HR contact for an entire office and a trusted partner to legal and business services teams at a leading international law firm? This HR Advisor role puts you right at the heart of the action.

We're looking for an HR Advisor to join a generalist HR team, working within a business partner model alongside HR Managers, Partners and Regional Divisional Leaders. You'll get real ownership - from running the BVI office's HR relationship to shaping key annual processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to legal and business services teams
  • Advising on and mediating employee relations issues as they arise
  • Supporting HR Managers with appraisals, promotions, salary reviews and bonuses
  • Contributing to talent management and succession planning
  • Acting as the main HR contact for the British Virgin Islands office
  • Drafting complex correspondence, including bespoke contracts and disciplinary, grievance and performance management documentation
  • Managing flexible working applications, parental leave processes and absence management
  • Overseeing end-of-probation reviews and conducting exit interviews
  • Supporting immigration compliance and ad hoc HR projects
