About the Role
We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy HR Operations team of a large well-known utilities company, providing expert employee relations advice and support to managers across the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing a varied ER caseload, partnering with managers to resolve complex people matters, and contributing to HR projects that improve processes and manager capability.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a broad range of employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, sickness absence, capability, discrimination, bullying & harassment, redeployment and redundancy.
- Providing practical, commercially focused advice on employment law, HR policies, and best practice.
- Coaching and supporting managers through complex people issues.
- Working closely with HR colleagues, Occupational Health, Payroll, Legal, and Trade Union representatives.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and case management reporting.
- Supporting HR projects, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For
- CIPD qualified or currently studying towards CIPD.
- Strong experience in an HR Advisor or HR Operations role with responsibility for complex ER case management.
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using HR systems (SAP experience is advantageous).
