Human Resources Advisor

We’re looking for an HR Advisor to join a manufacturing business in Selby, supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR generalist who enjoys being visible, approachable and commercially focused.

Reporting directly into the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will provide professional and practical HR support across the business, partnering with managers to deliver effective people solutions and maintain a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities:

• Advising managers on employee relations matters, including absence, performance, conduct and grievances.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
• Providing guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
• Supporting managers with effective performance management and employee development.
• Managing and resolving HR queries promptly and professionally.
• Supporting disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring HR systems are kept up to date.
• Assisting with employee engagement and people initiatives.
• Producing HR reports and analysing people data where required.
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider HR function to deliver consistent and effective HR support.
