Role Description
The Human Resources Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham, supporting managers and team members across LSH Auto UK Limited. The role involves providing day-to-day HR guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as advising on employee relations matters such as performance, conduct, and absence management. The HR Advisor will assist with the administration and coordination of HR processes, including onboarding, changes to employment, and maintaining accurate HR records. They will help ensure compliance with labor and employment law, support the implementation of HR initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement of HR services. The role also includes collaborating with stakeholders across the business to promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.

Qualifications

- Strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with experience advising managers and employees.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and procedures, and ability to interpret and apply them consistently.
- Understanding of Labor and Employment Law in the UK and experience ensuring compliance in HR practices.
- Experience in Employee Relations, including handling queries, supporting investigations, and contributing to fair outcomes.
- Relevant HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 3 or above) or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across the business.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Competence in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications; experience in automotive or retail environments is beneficial.
