We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and innovative HR Professional to join our dynamic Employee Relations team. If you are passionate about creating positive change and making a meaningful impact on both staff experience and patient care, we would love to hear from you.

Our employee relations function plays a pivotal role in supporting the Trust’s strategic objectives, ensuring we are recognised as both a great place to work and the employer of choice in our community.

You will support a diverse workforce, including clinical and non-clinical teams, helping to create a positive, supportive and highly performing workplace.

We are looking for a proactive, knowledgeable and committed HR Professional who can drive this vision forward. The role is instrumental in delivering a high-quality HR service, supporting staff across the organisation to achieve meaningful outcomes aligned with the Trust’s values so they can continue to provide outstanding care to our patients.

Role Details:

  • Locations: Yeomans Way and across site - Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital
  • Interview Date: 8th October
  • Working Model: Flexible model of on-site and home working

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain regular contact with line managers to build strong and influential working relationships.
  • Support, coach and train managers to undertake effective people management activities.
  • Advise on all aspects of Human Resources (HR) policies and procedures.
  • Support and advise on issues such as sickness absence management, performance, disciplinary, grievance, and harassment/bullying.
  • Support Equality, Diversity and Inclusion objectives, job matching, and employee wellbeing objectives.
  • Be involved in transformation work, attending consultation meetings and advising on procedures.

About Us:

UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.

Relocation:

If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
