HR Advisor
Up to £32,990 per annum
Full Time - Fixed Term (12 months until 1st September 2027)
Manchester City Centre (Hybrid)
We are recruiting for an HR Advisor to join a busy and supportive HR team, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees across a diverse organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering people-focused solutions, supporting organisational change, and driving employee engagement. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives that support business objectives and create a positive workplace culture.
The Role Involves:
- Providing a proactive and professional HR advisory service to managers and employees.
- Supporting the delivery of people plans and HR initiatives across designated business areas.
- Advising on a wide range of employee relations matters including absence management, performance, capability, disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Assisting with organisational development and change management projects.
- Analysing HR data and identifying trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Building effective relationships with managers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Coaching and supporting line managers to develop their people management skills.
- Maintaining accurate HR records and preparing reports as required.
- Supporting the implementation of HR policies, procedures and best practice.
- Contributing to HR projects and wider organisational objectives.

You’ll Need:
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) or equivalent HR experience.
- Previous experience in a HR Advisor role with broad generalist HR knowledge.
- Strong employee relations experience and confidence handling complex casework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and competing priorities.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and identify solutions.
- A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
- High levels of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.
- Experience supporting organisational change or improvement initiatives would be advantageous.
