HR Advisor - Professional Services £40K - £45K 2/3 days a week onsite
We’re working with a global professional services business looking for an HR Advisor to join their small, people team. This is a genuinely broad HR generalist role, supporting around 50 employees in the London office and acting as a key point of contact for managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll be hands-on across and be comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing...
- You’ll support managers and employees and provide advice on HR policies, employment legislation, and best practice
- Alongside the advisory side, you’ll get involved in onboarding, payroll administration, benefits admin, and maintain accurate HR records and supporting audits and compliance activity.
- There’s also scope to support with L&D, performance reviews, policy development, and wider People projects, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be involved across the whole HR function.

About you
We’re looking for a confident HR generalist who is comfortable working autonomously and can use their initiative.
- Previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally at HR Advisor level
- Confidence advising managers and senior stakeholders
- A good understanding of UK employment legislation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- A self-starter - someone who can be proactive and wants to get stuck into projects
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
