HR Advisor

šŸ“ Outskirts of York
šŸŖ™ Ā£35,000 - Ā£40,000 per annum
šŸ“œ Full-time, permanent
šŸ¢ Onsite

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join a well-established manufacturing business based on the outskirts of York. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will provide a comprehensive generalist HR service, supporting managers and employees throughout the full employee lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator who is looking to progress into an HR Advisor role. You will have already gained exposure to key HR advisory responsibilities and be keen to build on your employee relations experience, deepen your knowledge of employment law, and develop your confidence in delivering practical HR advice and support to managers. In return, you'll be supported in your professional development while taking on increasing responsibility across a broad range of HR activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
