Location: Huddersfield (Hybrid Working)

Travel: Occasional travel to business sites (2–3 days per month)

Salary: Competitive plus excellent benefits

At ZIGUP, people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our collaborative HR team and help deliver an exceptional people experience across the business.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll partner with managers, provide expert HR advice, and support the delivery of our people strategy. From managing employee relations cases and coaching leaders to identifying trends and driving continuous improvement, you'll play a key role in creating a positive, high-performing workplace.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers across the business.
  • Manage a range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance matters.
  • Coach and support managers to build confidence in handling people issues.
  • Analyse HR data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and inform decision-making.
  • Support HR reporting, and compliance activities.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build positive working relationships that enhance engagement, performance, and retention.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant with employment legislation and best practice.

About you

  • Experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
  • A strong understanding of employee relations and HR best practice.
  • You're a confident coach and advisor, able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence advising managers on a wide range of people matters.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A solutions-focused approach with sound judgement and attention to detail.
  • Emotional intelligence and resilience when handling sensitive situations.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and delivering an outstanding HR service.
