Homebased – with travel as required to schools and Company premises nationwide
£24,053.08
Part time – 30 Hours
Term time only 39 weeks

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role where you can use your expertise to make a real difference across schools and academies?
We’re looking for a HR Advisor to join our team and provide high-quality, practical HR advice and support through our HR Advice Line service. You’ll work closely with schools and academies, supporting them with a wide range of HR matters and helping them navigate complex employee relations issues with confidence.
This is a great opportunity for a self-sufficient HR professional who enjoys variety, working directly with clients and using their knowledge to provide practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely, accurate HR advice to schools and academies through our HR Advice Line.
- Advise on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance, and investigations.
- Support clients with maternity, paternity, and family leave queries.
- Provide guidance on redundancies and workforce restructuring.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver a high-quality service within agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge and continuously improve the HR Advice Line service.
About You
- Experienced HR Advisor with strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting maintained schools and/or academies is essential.
- Confident managing a range of employee relations cases and providing practical advice.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable using HR systems and technology to deliver remote HR support.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience is desirable.
