The Opportunity

Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys being close to the business, building relationships with managers and making a real difference to the employee experience?

We’re looking for a Regional HR Advisor to join Elis UK and support our sites across the South East region. This is a varied, hands-on HR role where no two days will be the same. You’ll work closely with managers across multiple locations, providing practical HR advice, coaching and support while helping us deliver a positive and consistent people experience.

If you enjoy getting out into the business, building trusted relationships and having the opportunity to influence how things are done, this could be a great next step.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Regional HR Advisor, you’ll be a key HR contact for managers across our South East sites, helping them navigate the everyday people challenges that come with running busy operational teams.

You’ll provide practical, commercially focused HR advice while coaching managers to confidently manage their teams and create a positive working environment.

Your role will include:

  • Providing advice and guidance across a broad range of employee relations matters, including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance cases.
  • Supporting and attending formal meetings, ensuring managers understand our policies, processes and relevant employment legislation.
  • Coaching and developing line managers to confidently manage people matters and apply HR policies consistently.
  • Building strong relationships with managers across the region and becoming a trusted point of contact for HR support.
  • Supporting reward, benefits and other general HR queries.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records, tracking activity and providing meaningful data and insights to the HR Business Partner.
  • Supporting apprenticeships, learning and development activity and career development across the region.
  • Championing diversity, inclusion and effective communication across our sites.
  • Supporting employee engagement initiatives, Employee Forums and recognition programmes.
  • Getting involved in wider HR projects and bringing forward ideas that could improve the employee experience across the region.

This isn't a role where you'll simply sit behind a desk and respond to HR queries. We want someone who enjoys being visible across the business, understanding our operations and working alongside managers and employees to make things better.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines good HR knowledge with a practical, approachable style.

You’ll ideally have:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent HR experience.
  • Experience providing HR advice in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations processes.
  • Confidence supporting managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to HR.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Good attention to detail and confidence working with HR data and Microsoft Office.
  • The confidence to challenge, coach and influence managers when needed.
  • A genuine interest in improving the employee experience.
