An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a client of mine based in Manchester. This is a brand-new role well suited to a proactive and confident HR professional. You’ll work closely with the People team to deliver a professional HR service to the business, supporting them through a period of transformation.
Below is an overview of the role in more detail:
- Supporting Managers with the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the business is successful in attracting the talent needed to succeed as a business
- Ensuring an effective onboarding process for new starters
- Advising Managers on all areas of people policies and processes
- Guiding Managers through disciplinary and grievance cases, ensuring fairness and compliance with legislation
- Supporting with the delivery of the overall L and D strategy
- Maintaining accurate employee records on the HR system, producing reports for the business
- Liaising with external benefit providers
- Supporting with employee engagement and internal communication initiatives
- Contributing to HR projects
