HR Advisor
Location
Cumbria - Hybrid Model (70% Home based 30% onsite)

We need someone who is a people/HR advisor currently or has been in the recent past. someone who is a good HR generalist and has experience of employee relations cases.
Qualifications
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development in HR/ Employee Relations
- HR related Qualification
- Chartered Level MCIPD
Experience & Knowledge
- Providing quality advice and guidance on high-risk HR casework
- Managing a varied workload utilizing personal organization skills
- Up to date knowledge, understanding and practical application of employment legislation and issues including diversity in employment.
- Handling difficult and sensitive redundancy, discipline, capability and grievance casework.
- Experience of establishing credibility with clients and communicating simply and persuasively about HR issues with non-HR specialists
- Working directly with clients to resolve HR issues.
- Working and consulting with trade unions
- Formulating policy to achieve organizational goals
- Experience of providing employee relations and employee resourcing advice to education-based clients
- Experience of managing discipline/grievance/capability/redundancy/absence issues.
- Experience of contributing to multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of delivering training events

Skills & Abilities
- Ability to provide clear verbal and written advice
- Ability to use IT systems to deliver HR services- i.e. enquiry management, casework recording
- Ability to think in creative and innovative way
- Ability to undertake QA checks to maintain and improve service quality and consistency
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities
- Ability to travel to attend on site client meetings
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Computer literate e.g. experiences effectively using Microsoft Packages, Word/Excel/Email.
- Current and valid driving license with own transport.
