Regional HR Advisor | £40,000 + £5.5K Car + Benefits | Midlands base, UK Travel
Are you an HR professional who enjoys getting out into the business rather than spending every day behind a desk?
Dalton Recruitment is representing a fantastic market leading client in the outsourced support services sector who is looking for a confident and approachable Regional HR Advisor to support a busy, multi-site operation across the UK. Based out of the client's Lutterworth premises but with regular travel to UK-wide sites (including one in Scotland, Hampshire & South Wales), this is a varied, hands-on opportunity where you’ll work directly with managers, helping them tackle day-to-day people challenges, providing hands-on HR advice, coaching and supporting them across a varied operational landscape to help create a positive working environment and consistent employee experience.
With responsibility across a network of locations, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to understand different operational environments, build strong relationships and make a visible difference.
This would be a great opportunity for an HR Advisor who enjoys being close to the operation, wants plenty of variety where they can genuinely influence how managers support and develop their teams but who is also looking for professional development and longer-term career progression.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
