This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative HR team and make an immediate impact by supporting managers with a wide range of employee relations and HR matters.

The role pays £25-£30 per hour via an umbrella company and is a hybrid role with 3 days in office.

Duties

  • Managing a varied employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance matters, ensuring cases are handled sensitively, efficiently and in line with policy
  • Providing clear and practical advice to managers on employee relations issues, applying UK employment law, ACAS guidance and internal procedures to support fair and consistent outcomes
  • Coaching and supporting managers to address ER matters confidently at an early stage, encouraging proactive resolution and building management capability across the organisation
  • Supporting complex or sensitive ER cases by preparing documentation, advising on risk, attending meetings where required and ensuring outcomes are robust and well documented
  • Maintaining accurate ER case records, monitoring progress and identifying trends to support continuous improvement of ER processes, policies and working practices
  • Providing generalist HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes, policy queries and general day-to-day HR matters
  • Supporting wider HR projects and operational activity, working closely with managers, HR colleagues and stakeholders to deliver an approachable, pragmatic and solutions-focused HR service

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
